Graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Valencia in 1995, Dr. Juan Pablo Burgués was awarded the Extraordinary Graduation Prize in his final year studying at the University of Manchester. Dr. Juan Pablo Burgués then trained as a Specialist in Urology at the La Fe University Hospital in Valencia from 1997 to 2002 and was recognised with the Best Resident Award in 2002.
A Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia in 2005, Dr. Juan Pablo Burgués graduated with an Excellent Cum Laude qualification and was awarded the Doctoral Thesis Prize by the Balearic Association of Urology in 2006.
Rewinding back to 2001, Dr. Juan Pablo Burgués gained further experience abroad working in the Department of Anatomy and Cellular Biology at the University of Bergen in Norway and later in the Department of Urology at the University of Miami’s School of Medicine.
Work as a Urologist has been framed throughout health centres across Palma de Mallorca, specifically in the Hospital de Son Dureta and Son Espases as of 2002, and from 2006 in the USP Palmaplanas Clinic.
