Dr.Andrea Bagur graduated in Biology from the University of Alicante in 2006.
Completing a first Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and Biomedicine at the Biotechnology Department at the University of Alicante in 2008, Dr.Andrea Bagur studied Reproductive Medicine and Clinical Analysis Laboratory during her two years at the institution.
Dr.Andrea Bagur then underwent a second Master’s Degree in Assisted Human Reproduction in 2011 which was eminently practical and organised by the University of Alicante in collaboration with the Assisted Reproduction Unit at La Fe University Hospital in Valencia.
Striving to gain further insight into her field of expertise, Dr.Andrea Bagur regularly attends conferences and courses, including exhibitions organised by the American Society of Assisted Reproduction on infertility and assisted reproduction.
Beginning her career in 2011 as an Embryologist at the Fertility Centre of Cancun in Mexico, Dr. Andrea Bagur helped oversee about 300 cycles per year and combined her profession with teaching Reproductive Biology for students undertaking a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine at the Anahuac University of Cancun.
Returning to Spain in 2015, Dr.Andrea Bagur became an Embryologist and IVF Laboratory Co-ordinator at the Instituto de Fertilidad de Palma de Mallorca.
Additional recognition and qualifications include:
Senior Embryologist Certification – European Society of Human Reproduction (ESHRE) – Vienna, 2019.
Training in the performance of embryo biopsy at D+3 and D+5.
Completing 2019’s ‘Practical course in embryo biopsies using the NaviLase laser system in blastocyst trophectoderm’.
