Success rates in Assisted Reproduction Treatments at IFER (2020–2024)*
In Vitro Fertilization with own eggs without PGT
At the Instituto de Fertilidad, the cumulative pregnancy rates using own eggs without genetic testing of the embryos reach 70%. Age is a key factor that significantly affects the success rates of the treatment. Based on age, we obtain the following results:
< 35 years old
35-38
Cumulative pregnancy rate: 74%
> 38 years old
Cumulative pregnancy rate: 42%

In Vitro Fertilization with donor eggs
After an egg donation process, our patients typically become pregnant after the first or second embryo transfer. At the Instituto de Fertilidad, the chances of pregnancy with donor eggs reach up to an 82% cumulative pregnancy rate.
The age of the patient is not a key factor in an egg donation process, which means the success rates remain similar regardless of age.
PGT Cycles
At the Instituto de Fertilidad, the cumulative pregnancy rate after performing genetic analysis on embryos reaches a 75% success rate.
Once genetically viable embryos are obtained for transfer, the patient’s age is no longer a key factor, meaning the success rates remain similar across different age groups.
Embryo Donation
Artificial Insemination
At the Instituto de Fertilidad, the cumulative pregnancy rate after artificial insemination with partner sperm is 15%. Inseminations with donor sperm increase the chances of success, reaching up to a 35% cumulative pregnancy rate.
